Kids are a big deal here at Shepherd’s. This is their church and this church gets to sound alive because of them! If you want to send your littlest to nursery or your bigger one’s to Kid’s Church, that’s awesome. If you want to keep your kid with you and they run around and scream the whole— also awesome. This church belongs to them! We hope they feel welcome.
We are a faith community that knows it isn’t as good as it could be without you. We know that you come with a unique story and we know that all of you— the good and the things you want to work on and change— are wholly welcome. We practice communion every week and every single person that wants to participate is invited to join in— we aren’t holy unless we are all together— and that includes you.
We love our neighborhood! We show this love through our partnership with Medulla Elementary and our sisterhood with La Florida, a church in Cuba. By being in ministry with both of these wonderful groups, we are able to show the world that faith in Christ isn’t just something you do on Sundays, it’s something that shares hope and light to anyone who needs it. We put our love to work!
