We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. Shepherd's Community offers service opportunities for people of any age, stage of life and skill level – including options to serve for the whole family!
Some of the current ways of serving the community via:
Medulla Elementary- our adopted neighborhood school, assisting families in need and supporting the teachers
LOBO Ranch - supporting foster children and families in the community
Prayer Shawl - providing prayer squares and dresses for those in need and cards of encouragement
Cuba Connection - praying for and supporting our sister church in Camyguay, Cuba
AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) - weekly meetings at our church
VISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly) - delivering personal care boxes 2/year and Thanksgiving meals
Therapy Dogs Ministry - working with therapy dogs making visits to patients at the hospital
Florida United Methodist Children's Home - supporting the home with donations every 5th Sunday
